Before real estate, Derek spent five years immersed in construction, plumbing, electrical work, and building—giving his clients an invaluable edge when evaluating homes. His hands-on knowledge is matched only by his passion for helping people make confident, informed decisions.

A former professional triathlete and runner for 15 years, Derek knows the discipline it takes to win. That same commitment shows in every client interaction—whether he’s negotiating a deal, answering a late-night question, or guiding a first-time buyer.

Married for 22 years and a proud father of six, Derek has also served as a head counselor and coach at the Auburn Swim Camp, a high school youth minister and worship leader, and a life insurance agent. His life is rooted in faith, service, and family.
